this little selection wouldn't feel like mine if it wasn't a little rough around the edges, but i wouldn't want it any other way. i'm working on letting my songs just be what they are and not getting too caught up on whether the end product sounds perfect. what matters is that it's out here, and i hope it resonates (i turned up the reverb a little to encourage it).

thanks to my loved ones for your advice and ongoing support. and thanks especially to the hosts & patrons of Blue Moon open mic nights - it's been a wonderful time being my weird little self and gaining back my confidence in being onstage. leaving that space and leaving Pittsburgh in general has been one of the harder choices i've had to make. the songs recorded here wouldn't sound remotely the same if it weren't for the geography they were surrounded by.
