Every once in a while, a situation arises that feels so urgent, so intense, and so out of control that time feels like it's both paused and careening forward at record speed. I wrote this song in about five minutes, and recorded and produced it in the following 48 hours. Such a timeline is unusual for me, but I felt like this song just had to GET OUT so here it is, unleashed into the world. It's a way to process the feeling of it all. It's a vessel for the energy that feels impossible to contain.

A wildfire can devastate an ecosystem. A shred of hope lies in the prospect that something new can flourish in the ashes.
